I forgot to post it, but last week Greg and I recorded the third installment of our podcast, Books & Beer. I think we’re getting better at it. This week we talked about John Jeremiah Sullivan’s essay collection Pulphead. It gets intense.

Next on deck is a selection of stories by Alice Munro. Hopefully we’ll have that recorded by next week! If you want to read along with us, we’ll be reading the following stories:

From the anthology Selected Stories:

“Something I’ve Been Meaning to Tell You”

“Labor Day Dinner”

“A Wilderness Station”

“Fits”

From the recent collection Too Much Happiness:

“Dimensions”

Wenlock Edge”

“Free Radicals”

“Child’s Play”

Some of these stories are very easy to find - they’ve been anthologized, published in The New Yorker, and so on. Alice Munro is a cool lady.

We’ll see if Greg agrees.
